Lineup includes:
Deadmau5
Deadmau5 is a DJ in progressive house, electric house, and techno. Hailed from Canada, he is known as one of the world’s most respected and highest-paid electronic music producers of modern times. His claim to fame in 2008 was his track “Faxing Berlin” which found its way onto the playlist of legendary producer Pete Tong’s radio show. Deadmau5’s best tracks of all time include Ghost ‘n’ Stuff, I Remember, Strobe, Monophobia. Similar to other masked music producers like Marshellow and Daft Punk, Deadmau5 is well known for his trademark helmet.
RL Grime
If you are a bass-head that has a passion for grimy music then be sure to check out the rising artist RL Grime at Thunder Beats Music Festival. This Los Angeles-based DJ/ producer is known for combining hip hop, electro, trap, drum ‘n’ bass, and any number of other bass-heavy genres. RL Grime has teamed up with multiple hip hop artists like Miguel and produced songs like Light Me Up and Stay for It featuring the vocal of Miguel and Julia Michaels. Apart from Miguel, RL Grime also collaborated with Skrillex and What So Not, etc.
JOYRYDE
Initially associated with psytrance, English DJ John Ford rose to fame after producing more bass-heavy house music with the moniker JOYRYDE. His best tracks include I WARE HOUSE and Feel the Volume with another bass house DJ Jauz. His music often sounds bouncy and is heavily influenced by the original UK garage records. During one of the interviews, JOYRYDE expresses in this day and age what shapes us is culture and not artists. An artist is one thing but culture boils down to dance moves, clothing, and words that shape who we are. It’s special because culture pushes the boundaries and it’s more about how we interpret creativity which is so much more nuanced.
Zomboy
If you’re a headbanger and bass-head then this DJ needs no introduction. Joshua Mellody, aka Zomboy, is a British DJ whose dubstep tracks are mostly bangers and infused with trap, drum ‘n’ bass, and electro house. His moniker Zomboy was inspired by the classic zombie shooter game Left 4 Dead. And just like his name, Zomboy produces some of the grimiest and glitchiest sounds that dubstep has to offer. His best tracks include Lone Wolf, Valley of Violence, Nuclear, Quiet Storm, and more.
